Specialist Services Exhibits at Defense Event in UAE

Specialist Services, part of Centurion Middle East & North Africa, recently exhibited at the first edition of Ajban Defense Industry and Technology Exhibition 2024.

The event took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE in February and played host to more than120 exhibitors. Among the hundreds of attendees were key representatives from a host of national and international companies serving the global defense industry.

The event provided a platform for exhibitors to showcase their capabilities and advanced technologies while allowing attendees, exhibitors and other key stakeholders to explore collaborative prospects. Generating over 1,700 commercial opportunities for local manufacturers, the exhibition directly supported the UAE’s national ‘Make it in the Emirates’ initiative and the national In-Country Value Program.

“The Ajban Defense Industry and Technology Exhibition gave us the opportunity to engage with potential clients and local manufacturers dedicated not only to advancing defense technologies and solutions, but also to build connections within the UAE. Specialist Services Opens New Fabrication, Rental and Services Facility in Abu Dhabi

Specialist Services, part of Centurion Middle East & North Africa, has opened a new state-of-the-art 50,000 square meter waterfront fabrication facility in Abu Dhabi.

Boasting a 110m waterfront load-out capacity, the facility offers expansive fabrication spaces, storage facilities, and a modern office complex, with a comprehensive range of services set to be housed within the facility. Strategically located in the thriving industrial hub of Mussafah, it ensures streamlined access to key transportation routes, ensuring efficient logistics and the smooth distribution of goods and services.

Chris Ridley, Vice President – Middle East & North Africa, commented: “The opening of our new Abu Dhabi facility is a major accomplishment for the entire Specialist Services team. To mark this milestone, Specialist Services hosted a Grand Opening Ceremony in January 2024 showcasing the facilities’ capabilities.
