Specialist Services Does The Right Thing, Participates in Al Noor Family Funfair Charity Event

As part of our commitment to Doing The Right Thing for our local communities, Specialist Services, part of Centurion Middle East & North Africa, is proud to have recently participated in the Al Noor Family Fun Fair 2024 charity event.

Held by the Dubai-based Al Noor Training Centre, the Family Fun Fair raises funds that contribute towards the support and education of students with special needs, with the event amassing 2,000 attendees in addition to volunteers from across 30 UAE-based companies.

Embracing the spirit of inclusion and support, 46 employees from Specialist Services and their families took part in the 4km Al Noor Superhero Walk for inclusion and volunteered at the “PLINKO” game booth during the Corporate BazWar, with a contribution of AED 1,354 raised by their game booth.

Supporting the communities in which we operate is fundamental to our values, and the Specialist Services team have truly Gone The Extra Mile by continuing to support this important annual charitable initiative.

U.S. Air Force Mobile Guard Houses

Specialist Services has successfully completed the Ballistically Protected Guard Houses project

The U.S. Air Force Europe’s 48th Security Forces Squadron based at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, selected Specialist Services, a Centurion company, to deliver twenty-two ballistically protected mobile guard houses.

Each defensive position includes a 1.5m x 1.5m guard cabin, specially designed to be capable of withstanding armor-piercing ammunition. They feature defensive ring ports offering 360-degree coverage, integrated security spot lighting, and a trailer for easy deployment throughout the installation.

These units are designed to elevate the 48 SFS defensive capabilities and effectiveness, ensuring they can more safely fulfil their role as the integrated base defense force for the installation.

U.S. Air Force Deployable Field Armory

Specialist Services has successfully completed the 13’ x 8’ x 8’ Deployable Field Armory project

The U.S. Air Force’s 33rd Rescue Squadron based at Kadena Air Base, Japan, selected Specialist Services, a Centurion company, to supply a deployable field armory.

The armory is constructed of ¼” steel and proprietary security panels that provide secure storage for up to 200 weapons and associated equipment. The armory is complete with environmental controls, including air conditioning and dehumidifying, exterior weapon mounts and maintenance tables, and a NAPEC rated security HASP.

The armory is highly mobile and has a tare weight of only 9000lb, which
enables deployment via C-130 or MTVR.

Secure Working Environments

Specialist Services has successfully completed the 10’ x 8’ x 8’6” Secure Working Environments project

The United Nations awarded Specialist Services, a Centurion company, a contract to provide four 10’ x 8’ ballistically protected secure working environments.

The ISO container-based units serve as cashier’s offices and support the United Nation’s Multi-dimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic.

Meticulously designed for enhanced security and functionality, the units are set to play a critical role in humanitarian operations. The ballistically-protected design ensures the safety of aid workers and the secure distribution of essential supplies in regions with elevated risk profiles.

Specialist Services Opens New Fabrication, Rental and Services Facility in Abu Dhabi

Specialist Services, part of Centurion Middle East & North Africa, has opened a new state-of-the-art 50,000 square meter waterfront fabrication facility in Abu Dhabi.

Boasting a 110m waterfront load-out capacity, the facility offers expansive fabrication spaces, storage facilities, and a modern office complex, with a comprehensive range of services set to be housed within the facility. Strategically located in the thriving industrial hub of Mussafah, it ensures streamlined access to key transportation routes, ensuring efficient logistics and the smooth distribution of goods and services.

Chris Ridley, Vice President – Middle East & North Africa, commented: “The opening of our new Abu Dhabi facility is a major accomplishment for the entire Specialist Services team. This expansion allows us to scale up our operations and better support our customers, execute a wide range of projects for both global and UAE customers, and continue to deliver world-class equipment and services.”

To mark this milestone, Specialist Services hosted a Grand Opening Ceremony in January 2024 showcasing the facilities’ capabilities. RF Shielded Deployable Magazine

Specialist Services has successfully completed the 20′ x 8′ RF Shielded Deployable Magazine project

Specialist Services, a Centurion company, was contracted to manufacture and deliver a 20’ x 8’ deployable magazine to a NATO country. The magazine was designed to comply with multiple international standards and specifications including CFR 555.208, DOD’s Manual 4145, 26M, ER 2014, and ATEX.

The magazine was complete with electromagnetic protection at 25dB in the 1 to 12 GHz range, external motion sensor light, internal Ex lighting, lighten-ing protection, a high security door, integrated access ramp, and bullet-resis-tant external envelope.

The unit can be deployed by commercial or military transportation including RMMV HX or MAN EPLS.

Specialist Services Exhibits at Major Defense EXPO in Poland

Specialist Services, part of Centurion Middle East & North Africa, recently exhibited at the first edition of the Future Land Forces 2023 Conference and Exhibition.

Held in November in Warsaw, Poland, attendees at Future Land Forces included military and civil service personnel making vital contributions to the global defense industry. Insightful discussions and seminars were held throughout the event, where industry experts delivered valuable knowledge about current trends and future directions in the sector.

“I had the opportunity to engage with potential clients and industry experts at Future Land Forces, fostering a network of professionals dedicated to advancing global defense solutions. Our presence at the event enabled us to showcase our latest innovations, including our blast and ballistic protection products, aligned with the requirements of modern land forces,” said Kyle Bowles, General Manager – Defense at Specialist Services.

Specialist Services Signs Strategic Collaboration Agreement With ADNOC

Specialist Services, part of Centurion Middle East and North Africa, is pleased to announce that they have signed a strategic collaboration agreement with ADNOC.

Under the agreement, Specialist Services, who have a long and well-established relationship with ADNOC, will manufacture Process Equipment, Skid Mounted Packages, Technical and Accommodation Modules, and Pre-Assembled Racks / Pre-Assembled Units (PAR/PAUs) in the UAE for various ADNOC projects.

The three-year agreement was signed last month during ADIPEC 2023 and will support ADNOC’s push to boost the growth and diversification of the UAE’s industrial sector. The partnership aligns with the UAE government’s ‘Make It In The Emirates’ initiative, which ADNOC has supported by identifying AED70 billion ($19 billion USD) worth of industrial products to be manufactured locally by 2027.

The collaboration between Specialist Services and ADNOC is supporting industrial growth in the region and reflects the commitment of both organizations to help establish a sustainable supply chain and industrial ecosystem in the UAE.

The Specialist Services team has consistently gone the extra mile to deliver industry-leading work for ADNOC for a number of years, leading to the signing of this important new agreement.
